On the same street as the Baird taproom. 7 beers on tap as well as a few bottles. Some Yokohama Brewery memorablia like shirts. The fish and chips was excellent.

Spacious brewpub with two floors. The second floor is huge and it seems they have live music from time to time. The first floor is the bar area with a few tables a seats at the bar. 4 beer sampler was 1500 yen for 100 to 150 ml pours I assume including their regular lineup. Seasonals come in 3 sizes which make it a nice place to come for a few ticks. Only 6 taps on when we visited.

Now rebranded as Umaya but seems pretty similar to when I last went there a few years ago. Stayed downstairs in the bar area. Staff were very friendly. Beer tasting set available and they serve all their beers in small sizes perfect for trying lots of stuff. Beers not hugely exciting and didn’t like the seasonals to be honest. Daytime opening at the weekend though.

Visited at opening and the friendly bartender was happy to pour a flight on request. It did take a while to receive and in the meantime had a look around the bar area, not that there’s much to see but you can catch glimpse of the brewing kit behind the bar. The beers are brewed to classic styles...nothing wrong with that but I can’t say there were any real standouts however the Bohemian Pils was the most solid on the day. Personally, it’s not a place I would want to linger for long but to try the beers it’s worth the pit stop.

Popular brewpub with a couple tables and a terrace on the ground floor, and a large Italian restaurant upstairs. Snack are average and service can be quite slow, even though you get free popcorn in the meantime. House beers are served in 3 sizes but are mostly mediocre apart from the weizen maybe. Weird atmosphere, a bit like a sports bar without the sport...

I was on my way to the Baird Taproom but decided to pop in. Had a set of tasters for about 800 yen on the ground floor. Kind of has a chain pub/restaurant vibe to it. Staff were friendly but didn’t know beer. The first floor gives you a nice view of their fermenters & brewery which is cool. A good place to try their stuff, especially seasonals.

I still don’t understand this place. Small bar area, where they don’t really want to sell beers. Big restaurent area upstairs, where people don’t come for the beers. Non of the beers are really any good....

Large place on several levels - cramped bar on the ground level with visible brewing equipment, larger Italian restaurant and bar upstairs (yes, Italian). Beers were mediocre, and we didn’t try the food. Seemed kind of touristy, and aiming for that crowd.

Bar downstairs, restaurant area upstairs. They wanted us upstairs, but wasn’t any problem to stay downstairs. Had six of their own beers. Not the best beers. Worth a drop in if you happen to pass by, not otherwise.
