58 Nice comfortable pub with a small outside seating area. About 12 beers on tap - mostly German styles. They do have food - mostly pizza, fairly decent. I enjoyed the beer - nothing outstanding, but all pretty solid. |
60 They have adequate parking a nice ambiance and a reasonable selection of beer, Service is decent and Monday Trivia night is fun. Their beer is decent the Pilsner is not bad and they have a couple of other unique beers. IPA’s are not in their wheelhouse so I’d avoid their IPAs. |
66 Suburban heaven. This place has the look and feel of a chain brewpub for sure. Parking available, a bit fullish but available. Super busy on a Monday evening, but I found a spot at the bar. Monday is trivia night, apparently, which has a large impact on server availability and food throughput. German stylings pervade the beer lineup. 10 taps or so on, all available as sample sized pours for a reasonable price. They have flight trays of four or seven, but you can just order the number you want. Beer quality ranged from pretty bad to decent. One of the bad ones was an Altbier however, which was a bummer. I thought the pizzas were good and reasonably priced; though I agree with Braudog that some of the food items were pricey. Service was ok, but one of the three guys behind the bar was doing 90% of the lifting, which slowed things down for sure. |
60 In the back corner of a urban strip mall, this place doesn’t scream "cozy," but it’s nice enough, and they are open to pups on the patio (right next to parking, and where people come out to smoke, unfortunately). The service was A+, both friendly and prompt, and at least beer knowledgeable-enough. We sample almost the entire beer lineup, and while none were necessarily bad, most weren’t all that great, either. Out of 9, I’d say 3 were pretty good, the other 6 fairly average or less. Biggest gripe would be food prices, i.e., $10 for a hot pretzel ... it was good, and admittedly big, but you can get similar in most places for $3-5. Brewery #772. |
70 Nice ambience, good atmosphere. Decent German style beer with pizza or German sausages all made onsite. |
64 Very new spot. central location btw. GG and TW. When visited they were packed full. They do offer pizzas etc. Plenty of German styled beers (Alts, Kolsch etc) which I am very happy for. Beer were good for initial batch. I will visit them again in future . |
60 Nice atmosphere. Trendy brewpub that clearly Americanized a German Brauhouse beer theme while serving pizza. The have 8 of their own beers on tap. Beers are subpar, but are alright for a night out. Food is good. Staff is fairly knowledgable. |
