66 Beers are cromulent if a little lacking. Place is a brewpub on Boulder's little pedmall street. If you're down there, would go to Oskar Blues before this place. Better food and beer. |
70 Fun place. Didn't try the food but the beers were solid and the staff was friendly. |
74 Long bar with metal tables. High chairs that can be turned. Friendly knowledged staff. 14 taps. 16 bottles. Brewing tanks can be seeen. Some of them are in 3rd floor. Service also in 2nd floor. Outdoor service. We did not eat. |
76 Visited later evening on a Tuesday. Located in the busy part of Pearl Street mall. Tables outside, along with a few restaurant seats up front. Bigger bar area in back, squeezed in around the brewery. Selection is 11 house beers along with 2 guests and a small variety of bottles. Beers are available as half or full pints for most of the house beers. Solid, knowledgeable service. Cool loft area up top in the middle. Good crowd, would be a great patio to hang out on and watch Pearl Street stroll by. 76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time) I only use the total score, not the component parts. |
72 Solid restaurant style brewpub. Food was good all around for our table, likely not memorable. Nice selection of Belgian style beers. Worth a visit, probably not a unique place |
72 I was in Boulder switching buses on my way back to Denver and took some time to check out the very picturesque old town center where I saw this jewel of a brewpub with large glass windows. I came in to the room to see a band playing bluegrass by the bar and tried a brew served by friendly efficient staff and headed out. A good experience that made me want to spend more time in Boulder the next time I am in Colorado. |
80 Friendly brewpub with good food and a wide range of mostly Belgian and fusion beer styles. |
90 This is a three story brewpub with seating on the first two floors and tanks on the third floor. The interior is pretty nice, they obviously had a big budget opening up this place. There are two TVs tucked away behind the bar if there was a need to view some sporting events. The selection was pretty good spanning pale ales to stouts to Belgian styles. I see everyone trashing the quality of their beer, but I only had one and it was perfectly good. I suppose I need to drink more of their catalog to get an opinion. The guest beers were very well chosen and available at a very good price. |
74 This is a pretty cool taproom on pearl street mall. Nice location. Food was very tasty, a worthy stop for the food. The beer was average, and they do have some guest taps if none of theirs are interesting. It is nice that they are brewing some different styles than the norm for brewpubs, but it seems they need some improvement in their beers. It is worth going, the food is very good, and the beers are good, but brewing Belgian styles their beers will be compared to the great Belgian beers, and to be in that realm they need some big improvements. But it is worth the stop, and I would go back for sure! |
66 Brewpub stop #3 with Mike. Nice brewpub on the pedestrian mall. Plenty of seating on the patio and inside. Long bar with about 6 house beers on tap. The girl behind the bar was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the beers were not good at all. Quite bad, in fact. They do at least have a dozen or so guest taps to choose from. |
