58 Typical Whole Foods Market. Fairly polite staff but nothing out of ordinary. Standard beer selection for this chain. Save yourself time and walk 5 min to Total Wine beer shop. |
58 The only Whole Foods in Hampton Roads right now ... great grocery store for quality food. Also a nice little walk-thru beer cooler with a decent selection of craft beer, including some local finds. Nothing to rival the better retailers in the area, but if you’re there shopping for good food, there’s some good beer too. |
72 Crowded and trendy but great selection in the beer cooler and a nice selection on tap in The Porch. The Porch had 10 taps with some local beers and a few other tasty items. Food available but didn’t try any. Growler fills available. |
66 Good selection of a variety of beers, both foreign and domestic. Nice selection of 22 oz. bottles as well. |
78 Very nice, trendy, high-end Whole Foods that has a fairly large walk in beer cooler and a "bar" attached called The Porch that was singles for on-premise consumption, ~10 taps, growler fills. They had Beach Brewing on tap as well as some Bells Oarsmen hell yeah! The beer cooler inside had a lot of local VA beer and cider with a good number of things I’d never seen before. Also, a good amount were for sale as singles. They also had secret bombers of Williamsburg AleWerks Cafe Royale for the win. Nice place, can see this being a big hit with the craft beer crowd. |
76 Brand new store complete with a large walk through beer cooler as well as a coffee/beer bar with a food menu and 8 drafts. The Porch, as it is called, focuses on local stuff but also has some others. Prices on draft beer are excellent and prices on bottled beer are average. Food is available and quite tasty. Very helpful bar staff that is fairly knowledgeable about the beer. |
