Not far off I-25 in downtown Castle Rock. Probably around 16 of their own beers on tap, a few more in the fridge. Everything ranged from good to very good, nice diversity of styles (nothing too crazy, but enough for most any palate). Again, proximity to Denver makes it tough to stand out, but worth visiting if you're at all close to Castle Rock.

I just happened across this place while driving through town. That's when it hit me that the number of breweries had suddenly more than doubled in sleepy Castle Rock. Wild Blue Yonder went through the extra trouble to have a kitchen which is rare. The food was very good too. The brewhouse itself has a small capacity, looks like it may even be 3 barrel, but its setup looks very friendly to work with. They're cranking out a decent variety of styles back there. There wasn't anything too adventurous the list certainly isn't too narrow. The beer we had was pretty decent, maybe just some mild fine tuning could be used as far as fermentation in the yeast forward styles. There were no real problems with the beer though. The taproom itself is cozy with some really cool decor and just a couple not so cool art pieces snuck in. The back yard is where it's at. I'd recommend a moment of Zen out there.
