Willey’s Store

Stopped in after HF. This indeed a pretty interesting store in "downtown" Greensboro. They had a bout 6 HF bottles with a 5% markup over the brewery. Nothing not also available at the Hill, but if you arrive after hours this is an excellent backup option. Otherwise the selection was decent; lots of local/regional beers and a smattering of others.

A spot you need to stop whenever you go to Hill Farmstead. You never know what you’ll find, Tilquin, Cantillon? Maybe! There is always a selection of Hill Farmstead shelf. Let’s say there is like 5 longs shelfs of craftbeers. Not bad at all for a General store in a small town!

Great stop. Go here before HF opens to snatch up any bottles that you see (they are the same price here as at the brewery 1 mile away). Good snack foods and cheese. Love this stop.

General store in Greensboro. Sort of on the way to Hill Farmstead, which is why I imagine most people on RateBeer would visit here.

Nice selection of beers, including some Hill Farmstead bottles (including Dorothy and Nordic Saison on my visit). They also have a large number of ciders, some ice ciders, some Maine bottles, Von Trapp, Lord Hobo...lots of neat stuff. Good prices, as well.

Another nice thing about this store, they have some nice cheeses, meats, and all sorts of good food items. Definitely worth a stop, particularly since it’s pretty much on your way.

Fantastic general store that is well worth a look, even without the beer. There isn’t much you can’t get in here, I reckon. Three HF beers on the shelf, two of which weren’t available at the brewery. And then - big tip here - as you’re looking at the shelf with the HF on it, look over your right shoulder. There’s a fancy looking, smoked glass fronted fridge in front of a wall. This is where the other HF and Grassroots stuff was! Picked up another three from here. Purely by chance I found this as there isn’t a notice or anything to suggest what’s inside. Great store. Good prices. Friendly staff.

Petite épicerie où l’on trouve de tout, dont une jolie sélection de bières. Les prix sont corrects et le service est plutôt effacé mais souriant. Une belle sélection de trucs disparus des tablettes s’y retrouve. Bien intéressant lors d’un arrêt chez Hill Farmstead.

General store in Greensboro with a small small and some nice surprises from time to time. Found some Tilquin Oude Quetsche and Grassroots Convivial Suarez on the shelves. Price on the Tilquin was pretty good, but Convivial Suarez was 2$ more than at Craft Beer Cellar Waterbury. Worth a quick stop if you are in the area.

A small town general store that’s worth stopping by to experience that if you never have. They have a couple beers worth buying but stop to get a snack if nothing else.

>> They have a ton of VT beer along with a good number of ciders. Small deli, pre-made sandwiches are in the fridge next to the deli counter. Really friendly staff. If you have to use the restroom, you will be led down into a scary dungeon so fair warning.

Good little country general store not far from Hill Farmstead. No HF bottles available on my visit but they did have Grassroots - in addition to a nice range of other VT, general US and a few imported beers. Lots of good food stuffs. Good value. It’s an easy stop if you’re in the area.
