Small hot dog joint with some bottles to drink on premises. Good variety of hot dogs. Okay lunch stop if you’re in the area checking out the other places in the area. Skip it as a beer destination.

I have no idea why this place is even in the database. Yes, it does have some craft beer, but these days almost every restaurant in Leesburg has some craft beer. This is not a craft beer destination per se, but they do have a good hotdog.

While the selection is limited mainly to the great lakes and a local or 2, the vibe is nice. The vibe is Chicago is awesome in about 200 sq ft. It’s all red and black and silver with posters of the Chicago area and Vienna Beef franks. The hot dogs are fabulous and hey I can grab a nice Great Lakes beer at the same time! On the negative, they served my beer in the bottle, they might have some plastic cups some where if you ask. I come back to see if they rotate the locals or the Bell’s.

Obviously this isn’t a beer destination but if you crave a slice of Chicago it may be. Chicago-style hot dogs are the thing here with all the toppings, except ketchup (Shame on you for wanting ketchup!), and the poppy seed buns. Very tasty. The beer selection is better than we expected and they really seem to dig craft beer. Of course when hotdogs top the charts don’t expect such luxuries as say a glass for your beer. But as a place to get a quick bite with good company it’s pretty solid.
