78 Same complex as Crooked Goat, a bit lower key. Nice space, friendly service, quality beer. I really need to write these reviews sooner. |

68 Will likely revisit and update this rating, but gotta put it out there that they are not necessarily open when they are supposed to be. Hours posted on the indow, online and on social media say they close at 8 - but they were closed at 7:01, and all there was to say this was a sharpie slash through the 8 with a 7:00 written in. Glad we went out of the way to visit :(
Got back here last weekend. Cool little faux gentrified strip wall/warehouse area. Nice inside and out with a clean almost too slick look, ample outdoor seating. OK service, good beer and decent prices. |
76 Visited on a Tuesday at lunchtime on our way back from a trip to bodega bay while staying in Santa Rosa. Quite quiet when we visited. Food smelled good but we didn’t try any. 8 of their own beers on tap and a guest beer in tap. Also 28 bottles from a variety of breweries mostly from American also some German/Danish beers. They after taster flights which s reasonably priced. Very present place to spend some time. |
86 The geography of this area is baffling. We hit Santa Rosa, and go west down a dusty road, passing barns, fields, and even a pile of tires. But then you break into a small town setting - Sebastopol - and take a right and suddenly you’re in this gleaming complex of brand new stores, each and everyone catering to something artistic, artisanal or just plain tasty. Across from the bronze sculpting work area is a rare book store dealer, and adjacent to that is Woodfour. It’s a large, open, airy and beautifully decorated spot, with a wall of beers representing different styles. Each hangs from a metal noose, unconsumed and unenjoyed. There’s even a Westy over on the wall on the far end, unassuming but still gorgeous. There weren’t too many people around, so we casually worked our way through a full flight of tasters and had a good conversation with the beertender and a few other employees. And it was here where we felt welcome enough to just wait out rush hour traffic, and settle into a full pint at the end of our flight adventure. Maybe Sebastopol is a well known cultural hub, an oasis for exiles from San Francisco’s rapidly rising rents, but whatever it is, it surprised us with all kinds of pleasantries, not least of which was really terrific beer in an engaging environment. |

I’ve never been to the quaint little town of Sebastopol before but it’s nice here. It’s a small town funded by wine tourists, but it now also has three breweries. This is right across the street from Warped. I’d say neither is yet a very good brewery, though this one is slightly better than Warped. There is a large bar, some tables, and plenty of patio seating, though it was raining during our visit. They had a set of three different wet hopped lagers and five other beers. Naturally we tried all of them. The one wet hopped lager and the Coffee And Pie were decent, bordering on good, but the rest were not something I’d order again. Service and atmosphere are friendly and it’s a nice area, just don’t want to drink anything made here. Head to Russian River a few miles further east. |
78 Somewhat upscale brewpub in a bit of an upscale shopping district. Food all looks very nice and is well conceived, but a bit on the expensive side. They had about 7-8 house beers, but a couple were out during my visit. Most of them were okay, but a couple of duds and a couple solid offerings. They have a sizable bottle list as well. Service was excellent. They have some sort of communal seating options as well as tables for individual dining groups and a bar. It was pretty crowded during my visit. They seem to be doing a lot of interesting things, so I’d definitely consider stopping in again. |
86 Visited on a Monday afternoon, and my experience here couldn’t have been nicer. No food service on Monday’s though, which is a bit of a drag, but the beers made up for it. They had a berlinner, a session sour saison, a couple fresh single hop APA’s and a few others. All were very good. I saw some of the low ratings of the beers were from GABF... they must have been some off batches, because what I had here was top notch. Everything had a very well crafted, rustic farmhouse feel to it, and I mean that in the best possible way. The service was great too. I got a rundown of all the beers and even talked to the head brewer who was an intern at Flossmoor Station a while back. Whatever kinks they had in the early going are gone now. Give these guys a chance, you won’t regret it. |
22 We were attracted to the place fir the purported unique beers. Sadly this is not a place to go if you enjoy beer. The food was expensive and not very good. The worst pub I’ve visited in Northern California |
