Zero Day Brewing is in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Lighting is dimmed lights and big windows. Parking was painful and ended up on the street 2 blocks away. 12 taps of their own beer. Some in can also. Service people nice. Upbeat music playing. Souvenirs shirts and hats. Crowlers to go. Nice place downtown. Cheers!

Lovely little hole in the wall, with a window to order pizza from the place next door! Nice decor, packed with people, and lots of interesting stuff on tap. It was a bit hard to order in the busy state I visited, and the beer was up and down.

We visited on 12.4.2017. Another new brewpub in Midtown, 5 min walking from Millworks. Very small location, serving around 10 draft beers. We were not permitted to walk into the brewhouse, from outside it looked a bit filthy. Beers were mediocre and staff not very nice. There are better places in Harrisburg to have some good beers.

It had been years since I’d visited the Midtown theatre which is one of the few arthouse theaters in Central PA. Imagine my surprise that a brewpub had opened up next door. After sitting through nearly 3 hours of Toni Erdmann I needed a few pints. The place has kind of a warehouse vibe though it wasn’t too packed for a Thursday night. The beers were solid though it seemed like they were out of a lot of things, but they also seemed adventurous enough that I’d check them out again.

New brewery- beers need some dialing in. We hit it during a concert so was a bit loud.

A small spot with a stage that is usually active. Very crowded and very local. Service was decent, but it was so busy a bit hard to tell. Decent selection of beer, they do flights, but it is all pretty mediocre at best. Prices were OK, but I will not be back.

A great addition to Harrisburg. The stainless tanks can be seen through the glass window and the space inside the building is bright and well, spacious with tables and seating in the one main room. It’s early days for the brewery and taproom and was great to get to try the first batches of beers. Overall, pretty solid and I’m sure will only get better as the brewery progresses. There are snacks available. The owners and staff were super friendly and inviting. Another great spot for Harrisburg.

Visited with Hawbrewer, Kristen & nate2g for the soft opening. Nice location just a short walk from the center of downtown. We walked, but there’s a parking lot out front. Inside is modern and nicely done, with an interesting exposed ceiling discovered serendipitously. Nice view through glass to the brewhouse. Medium sized bar on the left, bunch of tables, pretty basic. Low noise so conversation was easy. Four beers on offer - I very much enjoyed the dry stout and the IPA, the other two have potential but need work. They also had a very nice local cider and a house made ginger ale. Plenty more taps, so there’s room for a much larger selection - selection score will improve once that happens. Service was efficient, friendly, everything went very smoothly with the place pretty full. Snacks were available, and I thought the hummus hopped with Citra was tasty and creative. This place shows lots of promise, and is a great addition to the Harrisburg beer and bar scene. Looking forward to the hopped saison that was just brewed. Now a must-visit while in Harrisburg, and an easy add-on to a visit to Al’s.
