76 White stone arches and fin-de-siecle graphics dominate the interior of this small-ish pub at the edge of the old town. The selection is neat and their own beer brand is worth checking out, especially the phenomenal black IPA. On weekends it tends to get crowded and it really shines during Summer evenings, as it is located in a small passage with Be Unorthodox opposite and tables outside in between. That makes for a great craft beer hotspot on warm evenings. |

62 Nice place in a good spot with good selection, just a shame the place is a big overpriced for Bratislava standards. |
76 Small bar in the heart of Old Town, so it is quite convenient if you’re doing other touristy things in the area. A small number of taps, a blend of traditional and western styles. There was a beer on specifically brewed for Zil Verne, also. Overall a pleasant stop, especially if you want a drink in between touring. |
72 Small cousy place with a decent tap selection, and a very fine bottle selection. You get two in one here. As Be Unorthodox Craft Beer Bar is in the same alley. It is also very close to Man at work. Use Google if you do not know what I mean. You must off course take a photo of him.
Just 10 min walk from the UFO bridge |
68 Small bar in the middle of the old town. Sat outside on a pleasant September evening and drank a flight of 4. Didn’t see any food options. A nice stop. |
66 Had a little trouble finding this. It’s on Panska and there are two bars with the same name right next door to each other. It turned out that the one on the right was originally Zil Verne but is now Be Unorthodox and Zil Verne had moved next door to the place on the left. It was very busy when we visited on a Thursday evening so we sat outside at one of the tables of the pavement. My rating probably doesn’t do it justice - I’d like to go back when it’s a little less crowded.

72 Right in the heart of town and on a pedestrian street, this was a good stop. 8 taps, flights of 4 or 6 x 0.1L pours for €5 or €7. Very attentive and quick service, and a very comfortable and chill environment to sip on beers. Great place for some Slovakian ticks. |
72 Nice bar in the city centre focusing on craft beer. Looks simple but inviting and has a few tables outside as well. Eight beers on tap, one of them seemed to be their house beer at that moment. Solid selection of mainly Slovak craft beer, mostly hoppy stuff, not overly impressive but decent and at good prices. Flights of four or six 0.1 l pours are available. Staff was interested in our opinion about the beers and served us quickly. Good place to easily get some new ticks. |
74 Stopped in with Zlotta. Had the place to ourselves, and on a warm evening we sat outside on the pedestrianized street and watched the world pass by. Service was excellent despite our being out of sight, server cheerily checked on us periodically. They do small pours/flights of either four or six of their beers, which is a bit strange since they had eight taps. But we were two people, so the math worked out well, and we tried all eight beers. Nice variety of styles, but nothing blew us away. Definitely a worthwhile stop. |
