74 Visited on a Tuesday with a small group. It's located in an industrial park type area. They have a piece of their big warehouse dedicated to a tasting room, which they have made very nice and comfortable. It has the feel of a living room in many regards. The group ordered two flights and the quality of all the beer was pretty high. No food is offered here, but they do set out pretzels at all the tables at no charge. I enjoyed the variety of the beers made here. Service was okay. |
86 Really nice comfortable spot with lots of choices and special beers on tap. Good quality beer overall. |
68 Visited on 3/18/2017. This was the 3rd stop in my brewery hop with HuskerTan, MetalNhophead, and my buddy Adrien. The place is located on a railroad yard in the industrial section of Lincoln. They even deleted a street since the last time HuskerTan visited. So best have your GPS on when looking for this spot. The staff didn’t have much to say at all, but I was in good company. The beer itself was average with a very nice barrel aged brews. Sample flights, full pints, Grolwers and six packs to go. |
76 Visited over Memorial Day weekend. A nice small-medium sized taproom located a couple miles west of downtown near some railroad tracks. Around 10 seasonal/small batch beers in addition to their 5 year round beers. 4, 5, and 6 beer sampler flights available. The beer quality was mixed here. All the year round beers were above average to really good, but the majority of the seasonal/small batch beers were below average to average. Worth stopping by - if you are an out-of-towner, I’d focus on the year round beers first. |
64 A pretty nice little tasting room. There was a food truck that I didn’t try but smelled good. The atmosphere was what you’d expect - industrial chic with some hardwood. Poured the standards with a nice selection of small batch. |
60 A very odd location in a very industrial location. You will never find it if you aren’t searching for it. A little awkward as the staff is busy on their phones and not very social but worth visiting as it’s probably the best beer in Lincoln. Only complaint is you can’t do individual samplers. 8 beers I wanted to try and they do flights of 4,5,6. So I got a flight of 6 and figured if I had time I’d get the other 2. Nope. Would have to get a whole ’nother flight of 4 or a pint. Wish they were individually priced. |
86 Hybrid industrial-farmhouse ambience with excellent seating between a small "living room" area, a large beer hall, one private meeting room, and an attached covered patio. LOTS of taps (24? I didn’t count) behind the bar, and typically featuring 12-18 of their own beers on tap. Good seasonals, and FANTASTIC core beers. No kitchen, but food trucks are frequently hosted in their parking lot so that you can order food then eat it inside the taproom. On Sundays, you can play board games with the bartender, too! Excellent place to host a private party for 40-70 people, as well..... Very comfortable, friendly space with beers on tap that appeal to a broad audience. |
74 We were driving through on our way home to Indiana from Utah, and this spot had easy access from I-80. Small busy tap room where I found myself sitting shoulder to shoulder with the locals. Fortunately, they were really nice and friendly, so I didn’t mind the tight quarters.I was quite happy to stretch my legs at this spot. |
78 I stopped here about 7 PM on a Friday. Smaller taproom outside of town, pretty packed inside, with an open patio outside. 8 beers on tap, including one cask. Nice ambiance, mix of college kids and a middle aged after work crowd. 6 tasters for ~$7.50, pretty cheap. The beers were pretty good, especially for a relatively new brewery. I’ll probably stop here next time I drive through NE. |
