UPDATED: JUL 11, 2021 Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Lightly hazy golden, mid sized head, Aroma of honey and grain, some musky floral notes. Sweetish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready, honeyish malt with evident floral hops and a slight vegetable note. Balanced bitterness. Not as velvetty soft as top Franconian kellerbiers, but a fair try.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2021 Can sample at a tasting at Lior D's place. Thanks Lior D. Slightly hazy yellow. Graininess, lager yeast, slightly vegetal, a bit of noble hops, sweetish, a bit of bread, honey note, faint bitterness in the finish.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2021 Can, thanks a lot Fin! Pale cloudy yellow, creamy white head. Flowery, citric aroma. Medium to light mellow foamy body. Light cakelike malt, flowers, citrus, gooseberry - somewhat perfumed. Nice aromatics, very pleaant, needs a bit more crunch though.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2021 Can. Golden pour. Aroma of grainy malt, citrus, bitter grassy hop, floral herbs and orange. Taste has nice grainy malt, orange, citrus, bitter grassy hop, floral herbs and a bit of german würzigkeit. Very well done, tastes very german with a hoppy touch.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2021 Can. Hazy yellow with white head. The aroma has notes of white bread, grains, minerals, earthy, black pepper, some lemon. The flavor is mild sweet and mild bitter with notes of white bread, some spiciness, earthy, black pepper, lemon zest. Medium-bodied.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2021 440ml can from Whole Foods Market in Kensington. No visible date code on can. Served fridge cold into a stein. The beer pours a straw gold colour, very hazy with a even one finger white head. The head dissipates to a paper thin layer. The aroma is dominated by sweet grain. Some fresh melon, pear, a little Belgian golden ale-esque. On taste the beer is sweet with a real spicy hop bite. Saaz? Earthy notes and cereal. Some fresh melon with a hint of bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation with a building bitter presence on the aftertaste. Long legs for the style. Overall, a very tasty beer. I’d imagine very easy to session. Good stuff.
