Brel Bar

Nice West End bar, although more suited for eating rather than just drinks and not easy to get a seat. Taps include Leffe, St Mungos, Weihenstephan, Affigem and a cask ale from Kelburn (not on) along with good selection of bottles (though on the pricy side).

This is more a restaurant than a bar. 1 cask ale on tap and a few kegs. The main interest here are the bottles which currently include Kernel, Thornbridge & Nogne O. Food is excellent, service satisfactory but prices are quite high which is to be expected in this trendy west end location. Go here for a quality upmarket bar lunch accompanied with quality beer.

This is a pretentious and overpriced place. No real ales on tap, only bottled. All taps are lager or some kind of european rubbish. Their beer garden is stunning when it is sunny outside though.

Pretty nice bar and restaurant (upstair). Excellent choicie of Belgian beers! I am Belgian and take a lot of my friends here to discover some beers (You have to try Val Dieu). A nice beer garden at the back with grass to sit during the good days with enough space to cover a good amount of people. Not enough reference to Jacques Brel (belgian singer who gave his name to the bar), only a few pics but the general atmosphere is great and remind me some of the good belgian bars which is really good compare to the most part of Scottish bars with the old whisky bar look. The food is really good. Of course belgian food but not enough. You have so much more belgian recipes to do in a bar like that! And if you are french speaker or want to speak french, this is a great place to meet some "french guys"! Also, situed in Ashton Lane, this is a really nice place to visit in Glasgow. Avoid the thursday evening if you want to have a quiet time!

A fair selection of slightly pricey Belgian beers and friendly staff. Seems pretty overrun in the weekends.

A brilliant wee pub in Glasgow’s trendy Ashton Lane that concentrates mainly on their Belgian beer range. Stocks gems such as Triple Karmeliet and Rochefort 10, as well as constantly rotating guest beer. Food is excellent too, mainly mussels and seafood. Staff very knowledgable about beer. Highly recommended.
