An OK place to get a beer in central Parma. Tabarro is really more of a wine bar, but they do offer a nice range (appx. 8) of bottled Del Ducato beers. They also have good Parma ham. The beer isn’t cheap (my Sally Brown was €6 for a small bottle) but that really isn’t much more than from a bottle shop (this beer costs c. €4.50 at most shops). The atmosphere in here is nice, like a small cafe on the first floor, and then on the second floor it really feels like you’re sitting in someone’s kitchen; it’s very homey. They had some great jazz playing while we were there (I specifically remember some Django Reinhardt). Worth a visit if you’re in Parma, as there are only a handful of beer spots.
