66 Tap selection is quite boring, but some locals You can find. Place is cozy and they speak english :) |
Passages occasionnels. |
50 The list of bottles they serve is perhaps the only reason this is even on RateBeer -- except for perhaps the name of the place. With a couple dozen Belgians on bottle and 5 boring and already widely available pils/Belgians on tap you are not going to impress anyone. One exception though, and one I might actually stop here again if I am stuck in the arrondissement here: Flying Dog bottles for a somewhat reasonable price for Paris (7,50 euro for Snake Dog and 8,50 for Raging Bitch). Brew Dog too but those were very overpriced (Hardcore IPA for 10 euro). Service was disinterred and although the food looked actually not too bad we didn’t try any. Perhaps most typical of the place, though, was their home pilsner called Mellsbrau. A new tick? After asking it turned out as a randomly branded bullshit dump-price pils... I couldn’t even be bothered tasting it or adding it to RateBeer. |
40 Sought this place out yesterday and there was really nothing I hadn’t try before on the menu, and the seasonal tap was empty. Moved along... |
56 Average Parisian beer bar. Nice selection of the widely available Belgian beers along with at least 1 beer from many other countries. Although its dubious listing the Mongozo as African... |
82 A nice beer tavern, with a good selection of beers. The most interesting were som french beers on bottle which are hard to find anywhere else |
60 a good place to eat and find a classic pub in Paris. Not a bad beer selection |
Serata no birra, giretto a Montmartre. |
52 Decent beer bar in Paris, which is always something noteable. Has about 24 bottles available and 5 beers on tap, including delirium. But otherwise it’s a very typical sports bar, very average prices for Paris. |
60 March 2008. The atmosphere was more like an average Irish Pub setup, but wasn’t overy concerned about the look of the place as I was hunting for beer.
Out of the three beer bars I visited, this was my least favorite. However, it is by no means a bad place and you can find a few decent brews.
