60 Large place with some outside sitting, decent food, 8 own beers plus 3 guest on tap on the day I visited; free WiFi, flights available, beer is decent if unexceptional, quick service but you sometimes not get what you ordered |
78 Visited early March 2018 during a tuba conference. Cool enough place - it was kinda busy on the weekend night we went, so we grabbed beers and sat outside for nice conversation. Bartenders were prompt and friendly, beer was pretty decent. I'd be back if I were in the area! |
76 Stopped for lunch with family since dog friendly patio. Local trains made for louder experience than thought. Handsome building and comfortable patio. Very friendly waitress. Beer ok as was food nothing worth seeking out. Only had one brew but lost didn't excite. |
74 It’s big. They’re nice. There are always a few interesting taps, and the beer has improved in the last 3-4 years. Likely should be your first brewpub stop in Greensboro. |
70 Restaurant like downstairs, bar feel upstairs. Selection ok but not great, prices were pretty solid though. Waitstaff decent. |
64 Over all an OK place to visit. The building is interesting enough but definitely has a college bar vibe to it. The service was so-so. It took a while to get our beer. Not good for a brewery. The food was average at best, and a little pricey for what it was. The restrooms were not very clean and smelled bad. Not some place I would seek out again. |
76 Big place - no beer before noon on Sundays. Competent food and beer. |
72 Looks like it has been around for a hundred years due to painting techniques. It does feel like a touristy place, but at the same time it clearly caters to the locals. Seems like it would be a fun hang out. |
72 Located in downtown Greensboro with inexpensive parking available in a lot across the street. The brewpub is in old, two-story brick building which adds a lot of ambience. They have a restaurant area with a bar on the ground floor as well as another bar upstairs. As you can imagine with all that brick and all that space it can get loud especially with the Saturday night crowd skewing so young give this place a bit of a colleg bar vibe. They had 10-11 things on tap that were solid as was the food. Its a solid enough place but I can’t say it warmed the cockles of my heart. |
76 This place is in a large architecturally interesting building, with bars on both the ground floor and second floor (first floor if you’re from Europe). But it seemed more like a restaurant with a brewpub stuck on. Service was very attentive. Beers were varied but so-so. |
