74 Stopped by here yesterday with jackl. 4/1/21. Felt like a college bar. Friendly staff. Good beer list. Heavy local representation. Food was tasty. Had a "polish dinner" which was polish sausage, pierogies, and kraut. Tasty. Curds were solid. Prices decent. Overall a nice comfortable place to hang out. |
74 Relaxed spot that features a large dog-friendly patio. Sort of channels a hybrid pub / sports bar vibe. Loads of TVs on offer, a permanent pull-tab station, almost exclusively female wait staff etc. Beers on tap number 30+. This place has one of the better beer lists in the Twin Cities, and I consistently find eclectic stuff here that doesn’t turn up elsewhere. Food’s pretty standard American pub fare (burgers, nachos etc.). Overall, a pretty good spot. I’d place it solidly in the second flight of Minneapolis beer bar destinations. Stanley’s shouldn’t be your first port of call if you’re visiting from out of town, but it’s well worth checking out if you’re on a deep dive of the scene. |

68 I like Stanley’s for it’s small outdoor patio and for the fact that it usually has a couple of hard to find beers on tap. They also clearly care about craft beer, making it a point to have a variety of beer-related events throughout the year. The interior space is not overly impressive, however, although I do like sitting at the bar. If I’m in the area I definitely consider it as an option, but won’t usually go out of my way. |
72 A neighborhood bar that is a bit more on the upscale side. Space is a bit odd, but mainly a big bar area with lots of seating. A nice patio outside (with a dog menu if that is your thing). Service is good if not particularly beer oriented. A decent number of taps combining local with non local. Food was solid and prices were a bit steep. A decent stop but don’t go out of your way. |
62 Been here a few times and I’m not a huge fan. Nice tap selection but always over priced. Always crowded. Lots of other places to go. |
58 In the former Stasiu’s bar where I used to go for lunch with my grandfather. Entirely remodeled, and what used to be a dark classic northeast bar is now much brighter with additional windows. Decent beer list that was surprisingly expensive during happy hour. The food was ok. Service was friendly. I have good memories of the sandwiches at Stasius, and I wish they were still there. But they did keep the urinals. |
78 Good selection of beer. Hosted a Goose Island tap takeover including BCS 2012- gotta love that. |
66 Attentive staff. Decent beer selection with a "beer cellar" show casing more unique bottle offerings. Free onsite parking.
Historical / landmark urinals. |
60 Pretty solid tap room with about 30 beers on tap. Only been here twice (once for a beer event), and it seems like its usually quite busy. Haven’t had the food. Fun spot. |
