Goodieson Brewery

A brewery in a tin-shed, on the side of a road, amongst the grapevines of McLaren Vale. Run from their home by Jeff and Mary Goodieson, the Goodieson Brewery has a certain charm about it. Bottles of beer are $5 each and you can drink them overlooking the grapevines of the neighbouring vineyard, tastings are free. Mary was friendly and happy to talk about brewing and the future product lines. Apparently they are going to do a dunkelweizen, I have never had an Austrlian dunkelweizen before, looking forward to it. A nicer place for a beer than the trendy taphouse near by.
