Visted late March 2019 while visiting a friend. For whatever reason, we didn't stay here long. I think it was super packed and/or there was an event going on, so we split. Cool place - sort of a mix of indoor and outdoor, which is great when the weather is nice. Hipster place, full of goofy art, shit hanging from the ceilings, etc. It was busy, but the staff tried their best to get me served. Beer was okay, but I think we only had one each and split. I'd try it again if in the area. Just seems to be the "hip" or "famous" place in town and nobody likes that. Haha.

Big hipsteresque place in a warehouse district. Decent outdoor area with astroturf & a live band. Inside tons of exposed brick and random breweriana. Beers are all over the map which I like. Worth going to but I think there are better places in Dallas.

Stopped in on a early Friday afternoon, nice crowd both indoors and outdoors. We sat outside, decent sized patio with plenty of covered seating. Ordered a flight, all were good. Parking was decent, primarily street parking, but no meters. Worth a stop if in the area.

Came here on 30.4.2016 and liked this place from the beginning, not commercial but authentic. Great symbole, the smily face with the beer bottle mouth is a lovely idea! This place emits an authentic atmosphere, many friendly locals, a creative decoration and a welcoming patio. This is a great escape of the commercial Budweiser/Millers/Coors traps you can find everywhere in Texas. Was very busy on a Saturday afternoon. I had a Rye Pilsner and an IPA, both were absolutely ok. Best beer place - overall experience - I have found so far in Texas!

Very positively impressed. Ambiance is really cool, and the location (in Deep Ellum, Dallas) has a great vibe. They have board games to play, it wasn’t too crowded when I went (around 8PM, Thursday) but still a solid crowd. Bartenders were very friendly, very warm, super attentive. Free stickers and memorabilia and the like. They didn’t have food, but we brought in outside food. They were fine with that too. Super chill. Place closed at 10, we didn’t finish our drinks until 1030. Not once did they even make mention that we should leave or they were closing. They even gave us free tulip glasses at the end. Awesome place. Must check out.

Visited on a Tuesday evening. Located in a warehouse / light industrial area in the business end of Deep Ellum. The Interior is clean and new, with 3 game tables, 3 large communal tables and 6-8 seats at the bar. Also additional seating up a small ramp, and a large, attractive outdoor area. 11 beers on offer when I visited, with a good variety of styles. Service was solid, and the crowd seemed to be digging the Tuesday night trivia. Fun spot.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts

A nice outdoor space to go on Thursday nights for a couple beers. Usually there is decent live music and food trucks. The selection is usually limited and sometimes it can take forever to get a beer, especially during their larger events.

Came here for a private tour. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are working on expanding their tasting room. Kind of sucks that there is really only 3-5 beers to try here and no food.

Visited February 2013.

This was one of their Thursday tastings. Thanks to the backward Texan laws you can’t just go in and buy beer so what they do is charge you for a tour and a souvenir glass and then fill it up with free beer. There is a short tour but the place is full so it’s really a few minutes of the guy talking while standing on the catwalk at the mash tun and then a free for all at the bar. The good news is that the beer isn’t bad (the IPA is pretty decent) and you basically get as much as you can drink .Also, they have a good number of house beers on so you can try a number of things. Outside they have a patio area where they do live music. Cool place but parking is a pain. Also there were a bunch of a-holes cutting the line that had to be called out (on numerous occasions).

Typical industrial brewery complex. Nice turn out and nice selection of their beers. Live music and food truck available. The "tour" was not a physical tour but a lecture on how beer is made. Folks attending the open house had a good time and so did I.
