64 Decent beer shop in the center of Lille. Nice selection of belgians and beers from the north of France (including craft beers like Thiriez, Akim T, etc), at decent prices, and also some other stuff (i.e. Samichlaus, Baladin, sometimes a few Brewdog) but it’s mostly belgian. It used to be a wholesailer for restaurants and pubs, so kegs and taps are available, aswell as a standard selection of soft drinks, wine and spirits, and you can drive in with your car to load everything (as in many belgian and german beer shops, but not so common in France). One cool thing : they sell years-old Orval, quite enjoyable if you have trouble ageing bottles! |
64 Un drink au large choix de bières belges surtout et du nord et quelques références étrangères. Pratique, vous arrivez en voiture, vous chargez et repartez. De nombreuses promotion "bières + bouteilles" intéressantes. Prix corrects |
66 Warehouse type bottle shop, a bit cold, kinda like dranken in belgium. Fairly decent selection, but very classic belgian things. Not too pricy, and oh, they have a drive through, which can be usefull if you plan to buy crates of beers. |
74 Maitres George is more of a "cave" for alcohol and other beverages. They not only sell beer, but wines, spirits, liquors, glass ware and even fruit juices and packaged water. Upon entrance, the place feels like a warehouse with crates of beer all over the place. Once inside, they have a very elegant "cave" at a corner for the beers. Good selection of mostly Belgian and local French beers. The others are mostly German and guests like Brewdog, Mikkeller and a few English ales. The prices are reasonable.
P.S : Did not come across 700 bottles, a widely exaggerated figure. Would say roughly 250. |
