64 Seriously, why are people rating places on their wings on a beer site? Perfectly good bar food, perfectly good tap list. Bit like a BWW (for better or worse) with more of a focus on local beers. |

68 This place basically made me think of a cross between Wing Stop and Buffalo Wild Wings.
During my visit, the tap list was decent, though nothing terribly exciting. I guess they did have some good beers like Sculpin, Fresh Squeezed, and Super IPA on. Those were probably the highlights. Nothing on tap was what I’d call a bad beer (other than maybe the Santa Clara Valley IPA?), but it was largely stuff you can get off the shelf at any BevMo or even a lot of grocery stores. The atmosphere, overall, was kind of depressing as well. Just seemed kind of dead, even on a weekend night with plenty of games and stuff on. If you want a decent enough beer and some wings, go for it. |
26 These guys are a downer for me. Lame boring joint. The hot wings are lame. The sauces are lame. They don’t give you enough and then charge you for extra ranch! Stupid idiots. Everything is frozen and from a bottle. It’s a college kid joint. Just go to Original Gravity and save yourself the misery. |
80 San Jose location (the other one is in Cupertino) has the same basic premise - good buffalo chicken and a dozenish craft beers on tap with good rotation. Interestingly the taplist in the two outposts is significantly different (9 of 12 unique at the time of this rating). If you like good wings and good craft beer, this is a can’t miss location. The major downside is parking in downtown San Jose. Current taplist kept up to date on Beermenus.com |
