We arrived early enough to grab a beer and enjoy the backyard before any other patrons spilled outside. We were waiting for dinner at The Rieger, otherwise I would have insisted to eat some of this amazing looking food. They've got a vast beer list but not with anything super rare or geeky. Still, it's a solid array of imports, regionals, micros, etc. You'll find something good to drink. Prices aren't too bad. If I'm ever back in town I'll insist on having a meal here and washing it down with a quality beer.

Very well done renovated building with a nice patio out back. Even though the waitstaff did not have any beer knowledge, it appears that they have the desire to provide good service. Management needs to overcome this weakness or the service will never do justice to the top notch set up.

Visited around 6pm on a Thursday. Bar was full with after work groups, nice friendly vibe. The renovation of the space is great, very pretty, classic bar interior. There is a huge wall of taps behind the bar, at least 60. Two door cooler of bottles as well. The selection is vast, though there was really nothing that totally jumped out at me. No worries, I am always more than happy to drink a fresh Union Jack. I did not eat, but the meat in the coolers looked really high quality. I will need to come back and try the food for sure. Definitely a place for KC locals to check out.

Pretty cool new place in Kansas City. In addition to the restaurant, there is a butcher shop and in the basement, they raise tilapia to sell in the restaurant. Around 50-60 beers on tap. One of the better places in Kansas City for selection of international beers - several Unibroue beers, and quite a few belgian beers. I look forward to coming back again soon.

Excellent selection, food and service. Only (minor) gripe is that some of the staff really don’t know their beer or selection.
