nice US bottle selection, full of geeks

As mentioned already by others, the bar can be found up a few floors in what appears to be old office space converted into a little beery mecca representing the US west coast, or California specifically. The owners pride themselves on door-to-door cold shipping and delivery, and the beers hold up well because of this focus. There’s 8 taps and a whole lot of bottles from a few of Cali’s bigger hitting breweries. It’s a pretty relaxed place here, and you can sit out on the balcony to catch glimpse of the grey Yokohama skyline. Food is American fare, naturally, and I had an ordinary burger served with a chunk of a waffle chip thingy? It’s definitely worth a visit here, this spot can be fun and convivial and there’s no shortage of good beer to try.

Great place in Kannai with their own imported beers. Very office-like vibe with mostly standing only. Pretty crowded on Sunday night (3 day weekend related). You can open bottles from the fridge without an opening charge which is nice. They also have 10 taps. Food looked good. For people outside of Kanto they have a website where you can order beers and have them delivered.

Beer store that you get your beer alone from the fridge and can enjoy it there as well. Huge selection on US craft beer with an extremely good pricelist. Nice whiskey/bourbon selection, as well as different breweriana (t-shorts, glasses). too bad they dont have a bar.

A nice place near Kannai station. Beer selection is ok for Yokohama. A nice place if in yokohama.

Stopped in for a quick beer in between some sightseeing and before heading to Baird Bashimichi Taproom. Main bar room is a bit small and does have an office sort of vibe. A few small tables and seats but mostly standing room. There is a larger room on the 6th floor but I didn’t check that out and believe it’s just for more space along with some table games.

All American imported beers with 10 drafts and a nice sized set of refrigerators with imported bottles for consumption or take out. Order food/drafts at the small counter or bring up what bottles you want to buy.

Didn’t try the food but it was all American style food. Burger, wings, hot dogs, etc. They also sell American brewery shirts and merchandise. Worth a stop but definitely more geared for people living in Japan or outside the US who don’t have easy access to American craft beer.

An excellent resource for craft beer in the Kanto Plain!

Visited here during the Pizza Port tap takeover at 21st of february 2014. Place is kind of in an office building and the interior reflects that. They have about 10ish beer on taps, all american. They have about 5 fridges full of american beers from Pizza Port, North Coast, Ballast point etc that can be either consumed on site or had to go! Prices are the best i’ve seen in japan for american imports. They have some basic pub-food and they offer pizza through dominoes if you’d rather try that. The chickenwings are a pure treat btw. This is a great place in Yokohama even though it lacks the soul of a real bar/pub..it’s feels like a rushjob trying to convert an office into a place of beer. It also has that expat-feeling to it that just feels a little bit off. Still, if you’re in Yokohama this place is a must visit for anyone into American beer.

Decent sized bar with a great balcony/patio. No smoking at all. 8 taps an all-American with American style food. Food is actually pretty good, but as a visitor I don’t want this style. Service is self serve and prices are actually pretty good. If you are in Yokohoma, go.
