Visited late March while visiting a friend in the area. Like a couple other breweries, I don't think we stayed long because it was super busy or had a big event going on... for some reason I didn't rate many beers. Maybe they didn't do flights or samples or something, which would have pissed me off and caused me to leave. But honestly, I don't remember. Much different than the previous Dallas area brewpubs we hit, this was a big warehouse place. In a strip mall, I think? Huge open space, sheet metal and wood everywhere. Not so much hipster BS and wall art and goofy shit hanging from the ceiling, etc. Big place, people were nice, beer was just okay. I may pop back in if I'm in the area, but it didn't blow me away.

From the outside this looks like an old box chain store. On the inside this leads to a huge open space that is perfect for a big group of friends or children, very child friendly. The offer flights at a reasonable price. Solid assortment of beers but nothing really stood out but the medical haze. I'd come back if they had some Legion variants on tap.

Big warehouse with games. Bartenders are friendly. Beer is decent albeit a little over priced for a sampler.

Came to this brewery on 30.4.2016. The tap room is located in a very large hall (was once a warehouse) with live music at the end. We came on a Saturday evening and the place was very empty, hence even the live music could not inspire too much. The brewery is behind the bar, separated by a glass wall. They won several medals at big festivals. I tasted the Bitter and the Saison, both were really nice. As the place is too big (+ they are serving their beers in plastic cups), it is losing a bit character and ambience.

Community is a really great brewery...and not just for the beer...the staff and service were very good...and the management very helpful, engaging, and supportive of our visit. Not only did my friend and I (visiting one night only from NJ) get a personal tour of the brewery...but that included some special samples too...this while during a fairly busy evening visit. We climbed all over and under everything...up on the brew deck...into the cooler. Then to top it off...we learned the story of the 40 some odd whiskey barrels they’d recently purchased...mostly McCallan’s...and that they weren’t empty when delivered...8 gals or so of whiskey still in them! My friend and I were treated to a nice pour of the smoothest and most tasty whiskey I’d had in some time. As for the beers...liked the Oaked Mosiac IPA, the Sundial Session IPA, and the Barrel Aged Legion. Great people...great brewery. You may not get as lucky as us...but this is still a do not miss stop while doing craftbeer in Dallas.

Visited on a Wednesday evening. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Large warehouse brewery, about 1/3 of which is dedicated to a cavernous tasting room. There are a few picnic tables and a bar to sit at, though it appears to mostly be setup for crowds to stand around. A couple of games in the back, corn hole and jenga. Beer selection was 5 regulars and 5 rotation beers. Prices decent, food truck outside. The highlight of the visit was certainly the service, really great people with a passion for their beer and a ton of beer knowledge. Fun visit.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Wandering through the designer district of Dallas, you eventually find this place buried down one of the side streets. It’s a converted warehouse (or at least that’s what it feels like) that’s split into two sections - the tank room and the tap room - both of which spill out into a spacious parking lot. Overall, it’s chill. I attended on a Saturday near the tail end of their "open house" which had live music and local artists displaying their wares. They don’t directly serve food, but there was a food truck in the lot that people were raving about (I imagine a rotating food truck being a common occurrence). They charged $10 for 5-5oz samplers. They had 7 brews on tap and 2 bottled beers for sale. The beers were tasty, the other patrons were cool, the servers did come off as overwhelmed at times, but they were generally positive and upbeat.

One of the bigger tap rooms in NTX - lots of open area and seating. Dog and kid friendly. They usually have at least one "special" offering on - BA Legion or the like. Cool special events like comedy shows, beer school taught by the brewmaster, business mixers.

Typical $10 for 3 pours and the tour. Tour is good but there isn’t the usual glass that comes along with it. Didn’t offer any of the limited stuff on the tour outside of what’s available in sixers everywhere. Still a good atmosphere with music and art available. Merchandise is a good price. Couple food trucks available. Would have been awesome except I couldn’t get any of the beers I couldn’t pick up at my local grocery store during the tour.
