74 Visited on a Wednesday evening on my tour through Temecula. It’s a little hard to find as its in another large, commercial looking industrial park. No signs out front, just on the door and it’s not exactly viewable from the street. Waze pretty much led me right too it though, so no problems there. Inside is much smaller than I expected from the pictures on Yelp, but nicely done with lots of wood and sort of an "Old West" feel to it. They had maybe six or seven seats at the bar and several small tables and chairs around. The service was good. Friendly enough. I actually ran into the bartender later that evening at Ballast Point and she was much friendlier off duty. They do pints and tasters here. I got a flight of about six of their beers. All were at least average with a couple above average. Good stuff. Overall, a solid, well designed yet small tasting room with good beers. Worth a stop. |
76 10 pours for 20 bucks, over the top in a good way server. Who was also pleasing to look at. Good selection of beers to try |

Another legit brewery in Temecula. This makes two (Garage being the other). The tasting room is kind of forgettable as it’s just another industrial warehouse brewery but these guys do it right. They’re a tasting room, not a bar, not a restaurant. They do tasters and most likely pints (don’t know, didn’t want to order a whole pint) but it’s pretty much standing room only. They have a fair number of oak barrels stacked up so they must be doing something fun. What these guys do well is hops. The IPA and the India Pale Lager are both good. Actually, the stout is good for what it is. They distribute everywhere around southern California too, so it’s just a matter of time before these guys are known nationally. No reason not to visit the tasting room if you’re in the area. I was there shortly before last call but they were nice enough to pour me a flight. I spent a few minutes speaking German with some random customer that was there. She was reminiscing about her time in Munich and about Oktoberfest. It was a good way to pass the time. |
78 Perfect example of how you can take your warehouse brewery and open it to the public. Old school wooden barrels seperate the tasting area from the work space. Wooden beer list. Small place but I liked what they were trying to do. The habanero pale ale was fantastic! |
86 A respectable little taproom. In terms of beer quality, this is the best I’ve had from Temecula. Good value on a six-beer flight ($7). Nice range of styles, but the pale ale and the stout were tops for me. Friendly lady working the bar. Easy to find location. Should be a priority of visiting Temecula. |
82 Fairly small tasting room but a pretty big brewery. Ten beers on tap, some of which were great, some were quite disappointing. The service was excellent and the staff knew a lot about the beers. Didn’t really seem to be much seating available, however, and there aren’t many extra tables and the bar is fairly small. So, it could get a bit cumbersome if it was crowded. |
72 Another brewery in an industrial area of Temecula. The taproom is pretty small and dark, but they have a cool scorpion chair, so that counts for something. The service is quick and friendly. The selection is good, with 10 of their beers available, and a few "special editions". The value was good - $7 for 6 tasters...but the 10oz glasses are $3-5, so I guess that’s fair. Overall a decent place, nothing too special. |
80 Easy to find in front area of an industrial park. Tasting room is loosely separated from the brewhouse/barrel room. Quick, friendly service. Not a lot of places to sit and quite a small area. Beer quality was high, easily the highest in the Temecula area followed by eiher Refuge or Aftershock. Special offerings on tap. Everything available in taster size with nice flight organizers. No growler fills was shocking to me as well as to the locals similarly impressed by the beer quality. |
