44 Pub con varias cervezas de Cask, ultima pinta de la noche, |
56 The Castle has an attractive curved front with small leaded glass panes but it’s usually obscured by crowds of people spilling out onto the street. It was quiet when I visited on a Tuesday afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s nice inside - neat, tidy and traditional. Unfortunately the service was painfully slow and the choice of beers was rather limited, with just Pride, Doombar and a couple of guests.

68 A decent, upscale pub right in the heart of Farringdon. Fours casks available, two of which were interesting. A lot of keg beers but mostly the typical macros; they did have Brooklyn, Camden and Purity on keg. Some basic craft bottles - think Flying Dog, Delirium, Chimay. Nice ambiance overall. Trendy, modern pub. The cask ales aren’t cheap. Not a destination pub certainly but perhaps worth a pop-in if you’re going to the station. |
60 The closest pub to Farringdon Station on a corner with a very traditional look for an inner city inn. Inside the look is a little more updated than its outside appearance might suggest with a durable wooden appearance to cope with the crowds that regularly fill this place. There’s a range of lagers and ales to enjoy and is a good place to start for a pub crawl of the area. Serves food. |
