66 Visited on 8th January 2017. Modern looking single roomed bar and dining room on the opposite side of the road to the place marker. Quite sparse decor, an odd array of seating and a focus on both food and beer. The crowd in there were a little strange with lots of people just using the wifi and not really buying anything, put us off a lot so had one drink and left. The beer range was the best thing about the place and had a decent line up, prices OK. Too hip and trendy for my sensibilities. |
72 The food was pretty good, the beer selection was only okay. Seemed like one of the best spots in the immediate area, and I’m glad we came by. Not a destination, but if you are here anyway stop in for a bite and a brew. |
72 Nice, hipsterish local pub. Tasty and reasonably priced food. Friendly service. A few kegs plus what looked to be a wide selection of bottles. A great pub if in the area, although not a beer destination. |
74 Nice bar with rustic interiors. There is an interesting selection of English beers on tap, one of the best bars for selection I’ve found in this area so far. Didn’t try the food but the menu looked interesting. Well worth a visit. |
