When in Deventer... Lovely shop, chatty owner, found lots of local brews.

net buiten het centrum een aardige bierwinkel, toch vond ik het lastig echt wat interresants te vinden. Personeel is wel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Small to medium-sized, cosy and neatly organized slijterij close to central station. Huge part of it is occupied by a diverse beer selection consisting of mainly Dutch micros (including locals) and Belgian standards with some additions from other European countries and the US. Rather high quality at decent prices, though nothing too special. Staff is attentive and talkative. Good shop!

Small store just a short walk from the train station. Surprisingly diverse selection of Belgian, Dutch micro and even some fairly pricy but interesting US beers that were new to me. Owner is enthusiastic and chatty about beer. I will stop here again the next time I’m in Deventer.

Small store (actually the owners have 2) Good knowledge of products While it’s a small store they do have a nice selection of beers from various European countries and a few from the US. Also some regional items and a few beers specially brewed for the store. The selection does contain some suprising items, but as it’s a small liquor store don’t expect ahuge collection. Still it’s worth a stop if you are in the area.
