78 This was my favorite place in Dallas. 3 levels, all of them different, beers are diverse and good. |
76 Visited on a Thursday after work. I believe the taproom component of this brewery is relatively recent - past reviews seem more focused on brewery tour open layout sort of deal. Located near downtown, near I-35 in a wholesale warehouse part of town. The parking is limited with a few spots in front of the brewery and tasting room and sort of grab what you can beyond that. Interior has a neat design, its smaller but uses the space really well with three levels to spread it out. The first level has picnic tables and a small merchandise and growler shop, the 2nd level has the bar and some seating, and upstairs is a loft with ping pong, foosball, mini shuffleboard and a TV along with more places to sit and hang out. The beer selection is 17 house beers available as a full pour or a taster. As mentioned, growlers available at the merchandise counter. Happy hour prices, food trucks on Saturday. Fun spot. 76 = *** (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time) I only use the total score, not the component parts. |
88 Peticolas’ beers are top notch, always balanced and easy to drink, regardless of ABV. Excellent brewery, open tour space, lots of places to hang out. |
76 I always have a good time when visiting Peticolas Brewing. Michael and Melissa are incredibly gracious hosts. Kids are welcome (its my 2 year old son’s fav local brewery). There are tours the first and third Saturday of every month. |
72 Everyone directed me here and it is considered the darling brewery of the locals. Unfortunately I didn’t see it. Ambiance was nice and fun, but for a few hours every couple of weeks its not worth the effort. Service was by volunteers and they were nice. Selection was small, 5-6 of their beers that most local good bars had on tap. Beer was reasonable, a glass and 3 full beers for 10$. Their beer is decent, but nothing special, I wouldn’t make too much of an effort the get to the brewery. |
82 Great brewery. Kid friendly, always a good time, people are great, food trucks are a nice addition. |
80 Nice brewery situated near downtown Dallas behind the Hilton Anatole off Irving Boulevard. Michael brews some very good beers and often does cask-conditioned one-offs of his regular beers. Tours are a few Saturdays a month and admission gets you a glass plus beers. Located within 5 minutes of Community and Four Corners Brewing, so if you have a designated driver it is easy to hit two (or all three if you are feeling crazy) of these places in one Saturday. |
88 Peticolas is always a good time..A nice crowd of people that love to support their local brewery..Enjoy the great local food truck that is serving up munchies and sit back and enjoy the fresh local Peticolas beers. |
