I’ve been a fan of this place since I first turned 21. MacGrady’s always has a TON of beers on tap, and a pretty decent bottle selection too. The dumb college kids (eh-hem Lehigh) can sometimes over-whelm the place, but overall, I highly recommend MacGrady’s. My advice is to stop in on off-nights, like Monday-Wednesday.

I stopped in on a Tuesday evening. This is a textbook definition of a local bar- worn wooden floors, local patrons, beer swag all over the place, loud jukebox, etc. I ordered some wings and they were overcooked- crunchy, dry, and tough. I guess I should not bitch because they were $2.50. There are about 20 taps, half of which is macro stuff like BMC, Guinness, Bass, Blue Moon, etc. The other half of the tap lineup is nice (Green Flash, Beer Republic, Victory, DFH, Brooklyn). I would not go so far to call this a beer bar, more more of a local joint with some decent beers on tap. If you are passing through town, I would only stop by only if you are close by. Otherwise hit Bethlehem Brew Works and the Steelgaarden

One of my favorite places. Just very homie and I feel comfortable here. The wings are just amazing and the beer selection is great. All the food is actually very good. Always rotating taps. Not sure about the bottle selection because I have plenty to drink from the draft selection. Never a problem getting samples and always very nice staff. As stated it is a college neighborhood but don’t let that stop you. They also have some specials but I am not sure of the specifics. Recommended.

As an LU grad, this was our favorite place. Tuesdays are wing nights (the wings are awesome), and there are specials on the beer. Awesome tap list for the area. My only complaint is that since I have graduated they opened the bar up to include the next house on the block, and now it seems to have lost some of that cozy pub feel. Still, great place.

I didn’t eat here, but i did stop in for a drink. Has a decent selection, some fairly nice stuff is on tap, the place is pretty big too, my only beef with it is that they call themselves an Irish bar, when they are far from it, just cause you hang up some guiness stuff, and have a name like macgrady’s doesn’t make you Irish.

I would have to agree with rich, especially since I was sitting right next to him. Wide selection on hand really allows you the opportunity enjoy some quality brews.

Great beer bar right in the middle of the Lehigh Valley. over 40 micro and imports on tap. only a few taps were bmc, all the rest of their major labels were bottled. bartenders were quite knowledgeable about all the different brews. they do have full menu, but i didnt eat on the occasion i was there, however, i guarantee there will be plenty of opportunites for me to do so. there is a bit of a college crowd, but once Lehigh U. gets out, that should go away.
