CR Vanguard (Various locations)

The 3rd major supermarket chain in HK, always in the shadows of ParkNShop and Wellcome despite the deep pockets from its sugar daddy China Resources (hence the ’CR’ in its name), so they focus their business on a more grassroot level, with many of their stores located at public housing estates as well as some less glamorous shopping districts.

Beer wise, its selection is also quite different from the other two majors, with exclusive and cheap imported beers from Holland, South Korea, Mainland China and Taiwan. The lineup is modest but new stuffs arrive from time to time. A fair place to check out dodgy Asian beers once in a while.
