Chatty Monks Brewing Co.

We came here on 26.7.2019. Small brewpub with a few tables outside, located 5 min walking from Brocken Chair. We were sitting at the bar, had a few of their mediocre beers and ate a delicious Pittsburgh Chili which includes noodles. The brewery is behind the restaurant and is not visible. All in all a good place.

Stopped here for a few appetizers on a long beer trip. The fried pickles were amazing but you only got three. The pulled pork nachos were good but they gave you an obscene amount of them. Beer was alright, but nothing amazing except maybe the gose.

Quick visit, didnt try the food, Selection was ok for a startup, with everything not disappointing. Will stop back next time in town.

Cool place in an up and coming neighborhood. Beers were hit or miss but never bad. Food was pretty good. My meal was paid for so I cannot speak to value. Worth a stop when in the area. There isn’t much else to support a local brewery around.
