Cool old space, not huge, well built out. A block or so away from Odd Otter, worth hitting both at same time. Big wooden tables. Pretty quiet on a Friday night. Beer is fine, a fairly interesting mix of styles. Nice music, friendly bartender. You can do much worse.

Visited during a Tacoma brewery crawl. Pacific is one of about 5 that are walkable in the area from each other. Right next to Odd Otter. This place was a fun stop. Walking up to the building, and pushing a massive door to get in, I expected a huge place, but the taproom was really small. Most of the space in the building seems to be used for production. 9 beers on tap, very clean and modern looking place. Beer poured in 9 or 16 oz. Quiet in here for a Friday night, but they beer was pretty good, and the staff was great. Very friendly, and great conversation. Fun styles on their "small batch series", including some barrel aged beers, and belgian style ales. Cool place.

Visited on 7th November 2014. Warehouse conversion into a brewery and taproom. Bench seats. 8 beers on tap which were OK. Service decent. It’s in a handy downtown location for scooping in the beers but not much to write home about.

old-timey wherehouse location. Kinda neat. Beers were ok (I tried 6) but were overpriced in the taster format. Worth the stop, but likely won’t be back.

Just down the street from Odd Otter, this place was a cool experience. 9 house beers on tap, mostly all of solid quality. Service is super friendly -- the bartender couldn’t have been more welcoming, friendly, informative and generous. The interior is modern and clean, which aims for an historic feeling based on the history of the company. But the downside of this place is the prices. $14 for a 5 x 7 oz. flight is rather outrageous. I’d rather see those serving sizes at around 4-5 oz. and the price no more than $10 for that. Aside from this, I recommend checking this place out.

Very cool reclaimed historic space in the newly rejuvenated downtown core of T-Town. They have a sweet old warehouse location that has come together beautifully as a brewery and tasting room. The old warehouse space is fantastic, though they are down 100 yards or so from what looks like the end of the going-out section of Pac Ave. Don’t be fooled. You can park in the next block, or uphill on Commerce. If you park on Commerce, there’s a staircase down to this spot. If you’re coming from the north side (Old Town, in this case), you trundle along past the grain silos and train tracks and you’re on what almost feels like an on-ramp--then, boom, there’s a brewery and tasting right there on the side of the throughway. There are three parking spaces right in front, so if you really time it right, you might score. So, they are slightly hard to find at first glance for folks not familiar with the area, but they make it easier by putting the biggest sandwich board signs I have ever seen outside, and they also roll out a big hot dog cart, where they grill delicious sausages you can smell a mile away. Seems like the owners are manning the bar and the cart--or at least it did yesterday. Very friendly and welcoming folks who clearly want the place to take off and fly. Inside, there are picnic tables, highboys, a flat screen, and a bar. Lots of exposed brick, historic-looking windows, and cool historic photos. Great feel throughout. Really dig the vibe. They had 9 house beers and a guest tap pouring yesterday. They pour 7-ounce tasters for their flights, which is really cool. Every table has updated tasting notes for exactly the beers pouring that day, which is not as common as you might think--at a lot of other breweries. This worked out to 63 ounces, or four pints, of beer for us, since we skipped the guest tap. Fair enough deal, too--$24. They ranged from slightly outside my tastes for the style (blond lager and abbey dubbel)to pretty damn good to one I would drink all the time (Citra Pale). They name their beers after Tacoma historic landmarks and events, which I love. The people are nice, prices are fair, beers range up to great, and the space is great. Recommended.

Visited on Friday 7th November ’14 at around 9.30pm. Downtown location this venue was moderately busy. The place has a kind of mini beer hall feel, tiled walls, brewkit visible through a window, tall bench seating. 8 taps, 5 own, 3 guest. Own beers weren’t particularly inspiring coming in at a flat 3.0 when averaging out my ratings. Session IPA was the best of the bunch. Highlight for me was free potato chips at the bar, think that says something for the beer quality! If you’re in downtown Tacoma, worth stopping by (3 mins from Odd Otter and not far from some Harmon venues) but not worth going out of the way for.

A nice location that is and old converted building that is now more like a beer hall. Unfortunately the patrons are the young loud screechy type that really ruined what could be a nice pleasant atmosphere. Bring your own food and service was a bit curt without really talking beer. Prices are pretty high for a tasting flight. Selection was their own plus a few guest taps. They definitely need the guest taps as their beer is really not good, some are downright awful. I would not visit here.

Super place. Great beers with tons of terrific styles to choose from. Order in or bring your own food. Great new addition to Tacoma.
