Shallo Beer Shop

Smallish shop with several high tables inside and a bench outside. 4 taps of Italian beers and round 100-150 bottles. Imported stuff was somewhat pricey, but that's usual in Italy. Worth at least a quick stop.

It doesn't look like much from the outside and the inside is small but wow! They sure make good use of the space! If you can't find a beer you like in here then you can't find a beer you like anywhere in this town. Had a few while I was here as well as a really good meat cheese plate.

This place is more about a great location and day drinking, which isn't easy sometimes in Milan. A tiny spot in the center with taps and a pretty varied list of beer. Service was good with a girl who had only been there 3 days but knew quite a bit and was a wealth of local info. Selection was sparce as they were closing for vacation, but they carried a bit of everything and some of the more interesting itallian beers. Taps were a nice touch although carrying Baladin seems silly as they are so prolific. Prices were on par with everyone else maybe a bit higher, but fine for the good location. Only beef is the glassware was really spotty and it was painfully obvious. A quick rinse or wipe would have done wonders, but as she was new I wasn't going to be that guy. A great stop in the heart of Milan.

I found it as a great little bottle shop filled with some of the best easily available (and some of the not so easy to get) brews from all over the world and with many Italian craft beers. It seemed it’s the place of young people who made some busy atmosphere as the place was getting crowded. It was nice to see how local fellows enjoyed the beer and had each other. They had some taps I didn’t try, because of the impressive bottle selection. The owner is a nice, helpful and competent guy.

He, it’s a beer shop, what better ambiance one could get. Opened few months ago, nice collection of Italian beers in which I am interested. Great, friendly, knowlegeable service. Serving also some beers, tasted 2 and purchased what I could carry home. Will be back. Still bit expensive, but guess that are Italian prices.
