Lisopylka - Varvar Brew

Visited in August 2019. A bit off the beaten track, but given that it's arguably the best craft spot in Kiev and an Uber drive from the city center costs about 4 euros, it would be an unforgiveable negligence to miss it. It looks like an old sawmill carefully redesigned into a beautifully lit hipsteresque craft beer hotspot, with a spacious, pleasant patio, very nice waiting service, very good food and, well, VarVar beers. Beerwise you won't find anything here that isn't available in Kiev's multitaps (particularly in Punkraft) but the atmosphere is unforgettable. Easily the best brewery I've been to, and I've been to quite a few.

High prices

Located on the other side of the Dnipro, easiest way to get here is Uber, great industrial location and feel, superb selection of Varvar beers, all in great condition, food is excellent ( especially the sausage platter) Friendly staff and helpful with beer choices and knowledge. My favourite place during my stay in Kyiv.
