Ok, ok, this isn’t a great place in the general scheme of things, but outside of grocery stores like Safeway and Times, this is one of the few places in Kihei at the moment where there is actually a selection of bottled beer beyond the usual stuff. Eventually a Tamura’s will be opening up in town on Lipoa, but as of now that’s still a work in progress. Based on the Tamura’s in Lahaina, I’m sure that will be the top place for beer once they open up. For now, this place has some options, although many of them are old. Big Island bombers (yay!), Hop Concept Hull Melon, Belching Beaver, Stone, Alesmith, etc. Not a lot from any given brewery (other than local stalwarts like Maui Brewing and Kona), and the Belgian selection is warm shelf and old (but at least for the Orval 2013 bottles, that’s ok). So it’s kinda 7-Eleven-ish, but since there’s so little competition in Kihei at the moment, this is certainly worth a stop. Reasonable wine selection upstairs, but honestly the best game in town for wine is Safeway (although Wailea Wine has some higher end, rarer things for sure...albeit no Scarborough dammit).
