Dropped by after a visit to Berkeley. Plenty of outdoor seating. Parking on the street wasn’t too bad, but it will probably be difficult during peak hours after Covid. Nice pizza cart and restaurants nearby, which is no longer a requirement. About a dozen beers on tap. All easy drinking IPAs and lagers. a few sours available in bottles.

Actually only visited on accident as I was lost and needed WiFi, but this place really caught my eye! Situated very close to the McArthur station it's quite easy to get to. Staff is nice and they offer half pours and flights, but only from their own brewery. You can fill growlers and buy cans as well. Prices are normal. I wouldn't have planned a visit there, but if you are ever in Oakland you should come here.

Lots of white inside, with a decent amount of seats. BIG outdoor patio with a food truck. We went outside so we could play with the doggies. Decent selection of beers...trending towards hops, but they had some other stuff too including a great Berliner, and their hoppy stuff is legit. The back corner of the patio is next to their trash, and it was more than a little stinky - but as long as it’s not packed out there, it’s easy enough to move far enough away for their to be no smell.

I m very happy that I got a little bit out of my way in order to visit Temescal! Maybe it was not the most fancy, cozy place withe best ambiance that I visited but I think they had the best hoppy beers! I was one of their first customers on Tuesday afternoon and the only one sitting at the bar. As other people already said there is a backyard with wooden long tables. It is covered with nylon this time of the year. A little bit "cold" ambiance as I already said but with a nice view of the brewing equipment at your right while sitting at the bar. They serve flights, $2 for each beer. The service was good and friendly. dont know about food but you could have as much popcorn as you like from the popcorn machine they have.

This is a relatively new brewery located in the trendy Temescal neighborhood. There is a nice short bar facing 8 or so taps of their beer. Plenty of additional seating to support busy times. There is a nice range of fairly good brews and usually a food truck to supply eats. Friendly service. Beer is served in full pours or 4 ounce tasters.

Great new brewery in Oakland. It’s in a prime location right near the MacArthur BART station and a few other places within a reasonable walking distance like Drakes Dealership and The Good Hop. A very trendy neighborhood this is, Temescal. Good restaurants all around, art galleries and the like. This is the part of Oakland that’s been getting more hype lately.

It would be easy to walk by this place seeing how I didn’t notice any signage. The building itself is small, but the beer garden with the food truck station near the sidewalk is very spacious. No need to worry about space unless the weather is bad. Inside is much smaller but bright and airy, both with the natural light and color scheme. It looks like the brewing equipment is pretty much in the same space as the tasting room, so you can check that out if it floats your boat.

They only had six beers on tap on my visit, but they’re pretty new, so that’s ok. The quality of the beers was impressive considering how new they are. It’s not surprising since the head brewer has brewed with Hill Farmstead, Thirez, Cellarmaker and several other of the worlds top brewers. Good pedigree. They do flights pints and have growlers of all sizes, even the 750 flip tops. Very cool. The service was very engaging and attentive. It looks like they’ll have food trucks on most nights.

Overall, this is a new brewery that will definitely be added to my short list of brewers to watch in the bay area. I’m already impressed with their first few batches and I’m looking forward to visiting the brewery again soon.

I walked into the quite small inside space and was surprised at how dead things were. Then I realized that they have a courtyard, and that was hopping on a saturday afternoon. 11 beers on tap today, all available as tasters for $2. Service was solid, but I certainly get Andrew’s hipster comment in his review. I ordered four tasters spanning a range of styles, and while nothing was truly flawed, I was generally underwhelmed with the beer, at least as compared to the hype around it. Free popcorn is a plus. Food trucks generally available as well.

Stopped in during their second weekend open to avoid the crowd of the big grand opening. If you have aversion to what most people would describe as hipster, then this place might not be for you. The decor uses a lot of sort of 80s/90s color combinations like pink, yellow, lime green over a generally sort of sterile white background...interesting. I kind of dig it in a goofy way.

They have a bar right inside the tasting room and minimal seating otherwise. Sort of a sterile feel with white furniture, paint, countertops, etc. The beers are all listed on one of those removable letter signs, so sort of faux-retro in a way. They have been slowly expanding their tap list since opening about a month ago. The beers are sort of all styles but a number of hoppy beers with some stuff like blonde ales, saisons, porters, pilsners, etc. mixed in.

The beers are generally good, though nothing extraordinary. But, a few I have not been a huge fan of. I want to like them more than I actually have. Pricing is generally pretty typical with beers ranging from $5-7 for full pours and about $2 for tasters (generous sized).

Good sized beer garden area in the back with a lot of communal picnic tables and some sort of makeshift seating around the edge consisting of lumber, cinder blocks, and succulents. I like it out there except for the fact that this place seemingly doubles as a daycare center. Can we stop bringing toddlers and infants to breweries?

In summation, this place is pretty decent and I’d imagine they will continue to get better. A welcomed addition to the East Bay and Oakland beer scene.
