Bar Gelb

Cosy bar in the backyard close to downtown with a nice outsode area. 6 on tap, some locals some from abroad. Nice selection of bottles beers as well. Prices are fair, smart owner. Worth a visit, if you stay in Potsdam.

Have visited here twice now. 1st time I thought that it looked more than a youth club than a beer bar, as the clientele was rather young (yes, I am a bit of an old fart). On 2nd visit the crowd was a bit more varied. Six taps, one of which seems to be permanently taken with Hacke-Pschorr lager. On first visit the majority of the taps had been taken over by Stone Berlin. On second visit, there was a Malz & Moritz tap takeover on (albeit with only two beers), other taps were Ratsherrn and Mikkeler. Bottle list seemed quite Ratsherrn heavy. Not bad and better than many places in Potsdam.
