They have everything. Sake, whisky, beer... you name it. Some Japanese craft (about 15 different ones), but there‘s far more import beer. You cannot drink the beers on site. Sterile atmosphere.

Exclelente loja de bebidas. O foco não é cerveja, mas tem uma seleção interessante, mesclando raridades internacionais como thomas hardys e ccantillon com várias locais. Na parte de destilados e saquês é incrível a seleção, preços muito bons também.

Dropped in on my last visit to Tokyo. The place is immaculate. The fridges are beautiful and every beer is brought to front view, label forward, and price easy to see. Service wasn't exactly friendly and the prices were about average. I would probably visit again on my way to Titans or something like that.

Located in a basement (easy to miss), the beer selection is crazy when it comes to US beers (and lambics too apparently, but I didn’t really check that out). I spotted 3 Eclipses, 3 SN Trip To The Woods’, Black Butte XX-somethings etc. at prices that aren’t (much) higher than those in the US.Their Japansese craft selection could be expanded, but is probably still better than anywhere else in Tokyo. Personel speaks English btw which is a plus.

Reasonable prices and a 200 or so bottle selection. Staff is not very helpful. The woman there seems to be in a perpetually bad mood. Nothing terribly rare but if this is the best Tokyo has to offer, you should just visit an actual Japanese brewery. 11/14 - Revisited to a pleasant surprise a lot more good brews and better service. Updated score refelcts such

Best liquor store I’ve found anywhere, Every time I pop in I’ve found something new, even found my all time favourite beer here. I wish they’d restock it. All round great selection international and local brews. (the spirits selection is also amazing). Prices very reasonable. It’s a win.

This is the bottle and can Mecca in Tokyo. Great, hand-selected beers that seem to change quite often. Atmosphere is almost like being an old church. The shop itself is absolutely beautiful. Prices are fair for Tokyo (cheaper than Daimaru). The glassware selection is pretty amazing as well. The Japanese craft selection is lacking imo, but they always have a solid selection of Shiga kogen and Baird (including seasonable for both). The Belgian selection is the best in Japan and the American selection isn’t too shabby either. I don’t really interact with the staff but the service is average I guess.

Brilliant little shop right near Mejiro station. The staff were quite helpful and very friendly (naturally, they’re Japanese). The guy I spoke to knew his beer and even slipped in a free Japanese craft beer magazine for me. There’s heaps of Japanese stuff for Japan newbies like me and also a pretty impressive collection of international stuff for the locals and regulars. There’s also a respectable selection of sake if you’re into that. Prices are up there but it’s Japan so you’re not getting much for cheap. Definitely stop in to a pick up a few bottles.

Tanakaya is a great liquor/wine/beer store. Very close walk to the Mejiro JR station (right on the Yamanote line). It has a huge beer selection, mostly American, British, Belgian, and Japanese. Very heavy on Belgian lambics and krieks. The one kick is that it’s cash only. Sent me looking for an ATM on my first visit. In addition to beer, this shop has one of the most extensive collection of various liquor that I have seen in Tokyo, at very nice prices. Huge selection of tequila, mezcal, armagnac, cognac, vodka, rum, gin, jenever, aquavit. Very nice single-malt and blended whisk(e)y section, with great representation from all over the world. Might need to head back soon.
