80 Cool bar in Osaka. It is a decent sized place. They feature Yorocco and Minoh beers predominantly, and a few other Japanese plus some imports (Mikkeller, some Swedish beers). Interesting beers (various saisons, imperial stout, barrel aged beers). There is a food menu with Spanish/eclectic items. Solid tap list, worth a stop. |
74 Small bar with 20 seats on tables and about 10 seats at the bar.
10 beers on tap when I was there. 3 US + 7 JP. Average is 800¥/glass and 1200¥/US Pint to give pricing.
The gyozas looks homemade and quite tasty (3p/400¥). I recommend them.
Try to arrive early. It opens at 5PM, at 5:30PM it was almost full a Tuesday. A bit noisy though as there is a DJ set live (maybe not everyday)
Overall: quite good place to have one drink or two, I could come back. |
82 Gotta say I wasn't too impressed when they opened but after a few events, and working out their style, this place rocks. The food and service make up for the occasionally high beer prices (imports). |
80 I thought I’d already rated this place but I guess not. Also part of the growing AQ Bevolution Empire (they are partners in this place I believe), stripped back concrete interior with a really good taplist that leans towards imports. I didn’t eat but I believe they have the top quality Utsunomiya gyoza. A bit of a shame I am not in this area more often. |
80 Opened Autumn 2016. Sister pub to Yellow Ape, but this one is much more spacious and thus far more comfortable. Also more of a pub feel than a cafe. Selection, variety, quality are quite similar. Mostly Japanese craft on tap, with a few imports thrown in. Food is smoked meats, sausages, etc. Very tasty. All-you-can-drink plan with food for ¥5000 is awesome value. Great place. |
