Downtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania The Milllworks is a very nice brewery with patio and two stories of space. Free parking next door. Dim lighting and big windows light this place. Beers to go here 13 of their own beers on tap. 2 bartenders, both nice. Place is very nice and upscale. I would come back here.

We came here 12.4. 2017. New brewpub with a strong focus on local ingredients and art located in the midtown area. I was surprised about the charme of this part of Harrisburg. Pub is more on the fancy side, but not too posh. We had a session IPA and a pale ale, both were clean and quite tasty. Although it was a very warm day, unfortunately the roof top beer garden was closed. Came back in June and could sit on the roof terrace, definitely a reason to come back! Pizza was mediocre.

Sort of pricey for Harrisburg, but the food was great and the beer was solid. The converted warehouse is a pretty beautiful space, and I love the way they are making an effort at creating a community connection place. Pretty good spot for a pre-minor league baseball game dinner!

Located in downtown Harrisburg near Broad Street Market, it has a fairly sizable parking lot which is guarded which tells you something about this slowly gentrifying neighborhood. The restaurant is part of a larger space that also includes retail, a courtyard, and artistic display space. The restaurant was packed on a Thursday night but I was able to snag a seat at the bar. The brewpub is a more recent development and the beers I had ranged from solid to pretty good. The service varied greatly depending on which of the bartenders was waiting on me. The food was tasty and good in a gooey, messy sort of way. I might go back if I was in the area, but I’m not sure I’d make a special trip there.
