VIDRO Craft Beer & Kitchen

Few steps from Majdan. Tiny place. Just slightly larger than a bucket (vidro). Eight tables. Minimalistic. No wc. CCCP-tank worked effectively. Recommendable coming early. Did not try food. Dozen taps. Gonzo on all. Had Gonzo then. Soviet range of choices hehehe. Later the krasunya came at work, but then i had to go.

Visited in August 2019. This was one of only two pubs in Kiev that didn't make a visual impression on me. However, if you look for the laid back, youthful student atmosphere of some pubs in Belgrade or Prague, then this one is for you. Pretty basic, smallish, with high tables, nice service and twelve rotating taps with local offerings. It's centrally located, so you won't miss it anyway.

Small beerplace near the heart of Kyiv. It's nice to visit once or two at month to taste some interesting ukrainian beer.

Definetely the beest beer pub in Kiev. Wonderful Ukrainian craft beers, nice food and extremely friendly service. Each time I am in Kiev I am here!

Perfectly acceptable beer bar excellently located near Maidan square. .25L pours, handful of different breweries and a couple of really good dark beers on draft. Wings and pulled pork sandwich were excellent, falafel just so so.

Beautifully located and just off the main street, this is a mandatory stop when in Kiev. A small, intimate place with counter service, they had 10 local craft beers pouring when we visited. No flights, but they offer 0.25L pours for $1-2 US. Good selection of Ukrainian craft. Service wasn’t friendly and bordering on cold / prickish, but otherwise quick and efficient. Definitely visit when in Kiev.
