Visited on a Wednesday afternoon in February 2020. A small place located around 7 minutes walk from the old Mikkeller location. The service was fast and polite but the ambiance of this place was not the best one. But it's still nice to visit a new Mikkeller Bar.

A tiny bar that looks more like a pop-up than anything permanent. Lots of grey concrete. Very rustic.. Not much in the way of seating with just five regular seats at the bar. They have 20 taps. Not so much locally brewed beers. Working Wi-Fi and friendly staff. I really wanted to like this place but struggled to do so. Probably the worst Mikkeller bar I’ve ever been to. Needs a new, more dynamic location.

I love the look of the building and the location across from a shrine is cool. I was not a huge fan of the service when I went as I had to repeat my order 3 times and felt people kept trying to cut in front of me. The lady staff asking for orders over my head as I was at the head of the line felt rude/borderline racist. Is she skipping over me as I’m not Japanese/Asian??? Probably not, it felt that way, the way people line up to order just isn't signposted/organized so well so when they get busy things go downhill fast is my impression. When I went back for a second beer service was much better though still a bit slow, lining up to order also seemed a bit confusing but it went more smoothly than my first order. The beer selection was good, prices on the slightly high side which is standard for a Mikkeller Bar but then again most stuff on tap you can only drink there. Even with the service hiccups, I'd go back and FYI the wifi PW was mikkeller when I went.

Brutalist space - mostly just concrete and glass. Tables and what not. Second floor is mostly for reservations. Usually various types of music in the background. Ranging from classic rock to jazz. Food includes pork burgers, finger food, and charcuterie plates. Value is mediocre as the cost of pours are quite high. Glassware is Mikkeller branded tasting glasses - I believe Spieglau so they're quite good. Neighborhood is in a middle of a bunch of love hotels so not very child friendly.

Hidden away on some Shibuya backstreets among the love hotels this place was surpirisingly small and not what I expected. Beer list is largely Mikkeller but has 2 or 3 Japanese craft beers. Space is concrete minimalism. Apart from the loud whiny bearded Americans was quite nice inside. Service was very good and glassware nice too. Prices are expensive though.

Mostly at the high global standard Mikkeller have set for their venues. A little hard to find but worth the effort. As per usual impeccable minimalist styling that points towards modern lean Japanese interior very well. Very warm friendly service. 20 taps with 14 house. Pricing about right for the quality (about 650 yen for 200ml small serves). Interestingly only 2 of the 20 taps ventured beyond 9%.
