San Domenico Caffe

Caffe at San Domenico Square in Kosice. Focusing mostly at breakfest, brunch, cakes and caffee, but have a fridge with some Kaltenecker and even Mikkeller or Naparbier. ERB from another opinion is now longer here. Staff in very kind, speaking great English, but have poor knowladge about beer. Very nice place, not for beer though.

This cafe / restaurant may not be your first stop when looking for craft beer in Kosice, but it should be!! Before you head to the many bars & pubs offering wide selections, stop by this local hangout & let your first beer of the day be the very best craft beer that Slovakia has to offer. The Erb brewery produces only 3k hectolitres per year (about the same amount a large brewery produces in a few hours), they use only the best quality & all natural ingredients. This small quality driven Slovak brewery only makes 4 beers & San Domenico cafe is the only place in Kosice you can find it! Significantly it’s the only beer that they sell, which although at first may seem limited is justified when you get your first taste of Erb
