72 Large place on a back street.... if your in the area then its worth a look ... 6 taps on ... good freindly serivce... |
66 Visited on a hot Parisian evening when aircon would have been of benefit. But that aside, enjoyable visit, 4 of their own beers on tap, and 4 or 5 others. Had their bitter and stout. Both good beers. Ambience was decent, a bit dark/intimate, with not overly loud background soft rock music. A worthy brewpub experience. Bit expensive, €9 for 2 half pints. |
76 Good place to enjoy beers, about hte quality..., that’s fine... Four or five different beers, one of them is a special edition. The worst is that beers are only available in a pint glass. Too much if you want to rate al off them in a only one beer-session. |
34 Quite ambitious network of brewpubs - 5 in Paris. However brews are not the best around. For better beers try O’Neil almost round the corner. |
70 Stopped by very early and in fact just too early for the normal lunch service (which starts at 12h00). The place is large and has a surprisingly tastefully redecorated interior that is neither Parisian nor English pub, but looked classy yet welcoming. The large amount of tap handles are a bit misleading, as only their normal lineup is available, just with duplicates. Well, to be honest there was a new special brew, Zonk!, available too but... it was the only beer that wasn’t available today. No tick for me here. Al considered not a bad place at all; although their beers aren’t very impressive, they tasted better (and were in better condition) than I remember they were the last time. |
64 More sophisticated French take on a British Pub. Beer feels more like an add-on to the food. Nice but nothing spectacular. |
40 It’s not a real pub, rather a student bar with no atmosphere. Mostly watery beers. It’s quite noisy and expensive. I would not recommend it to anyone, except rich young undemanding students who wants to watch a soccer or rugby game. You’ve got many best place to drink beers in Paris than The Frog & Princess! |
58 Medium big place with ok brewpub beer selection. The service was helpful but usually French slow. Quite watery and expensive beers, but criticism goes to not having beers smaller than pint and filling your stomach with not so good beer isn’t really especially interesting thing to do in Paris. |
