Official pub of La Pirata, in Madrid. The place is nice, with the main room being pretty small, but I haven't explored downstairs. It was lively when I went. Staff gives me the impression of not being beers experts or enthusiasts, but just random people paid to work there. A couple I identified as the owners/managers were doing some accounting (probably) right in the middle of customers. Their cat was moving around freely, which is a hygiene issue, since it also climbed where customers eat. I had to push it away 2-3 times. Selection was only La Pirata (including a jewel like Black Block), with the exception of a German hefeweizen beer (La Pirata doesn't have a hefeweizen in their line??). I had a cheese platter, which was average. Overall, this is potentially a nice place, if managed better.

Good place with La Pirata beers on tap. Short but tasty selection of tapas.

Located in Madrid's city centre. Inside they have painted pirate related murals on the walls, that are way cool, wooden furniture over two floors and is quite cosy. They not only serve their own beer from 16 taps, but some guests as well. They also have live music on Thursdays and Sundays. The atmosphere is very pleasant to share beers and quality time with friends. Another must on your craft beer tour in Madrid

This is the former Irreale pub in Malasaña street, in Madrid's city center, that has now been taken over by Cerveses La Pirata. They've done a nice work painting murals on the walls, introducing wooden furniture and customizing the 16 taps. They not only serve their own beer, but some friend's as well. Nice staff, English spoken.

Dropped in with a few friends when around th area (we had some really good Fondue around the corner). Smallish bar, 16 taps, lots of their own beer, a couple of common Micros (kozel, Schneider weisse) and Spanish micros to fill the gap. Bottle selection is quite good as well, but quite expensive Very nice place! Will come again.

Antiguo Irreale, decoración moderna, disponible tanto en botella como en barril varias de sus cervezas, precios algo elevados para ser cerveza propia.
