Nice delicasy store with three beer shelves. They had a good range of local beers, some craft beers and some imports as well. We walked away with five new local beers. Polite service. The rest of the store is worth a look as well.

When 'Beer in a Bottle' chucked in its empties a year or two back this wine merchant's and top end deli decided to take a punt in the world of better beers. It has exceeded expectations and the space taken up by beer is now almost matching the wine shelves. Well-known international classics - 3F Gueuze in Beverley? - are joined by Yorkshire's finest, with encouragement for some promising local brewers, plus some deliberate rarities pushing the price envelope. The best bread, cheese and wine in town too, with sound advice on offer.
