Went inside to change my coins for a note to give to a homeless woman so she could get a hostel and the two men in the shop just laughed at me and refused to do it. Absolutely sickening behaviour and she was in tears as we left. The anti-homeless attitude in this country is disgusting and these two men are garbage human beings!

Smallish convenience store right near Stephens Green Shopping Centre, across from PMac’s. Ambiance is typical convenience store, nothing fancy, but the owner is obviously a huge beer fan, the coolers in back are completely filled with craft beer. Mostly Irish and UK, a few American imports. The location here is important, if you’re in this area of Dublin, there’s great pubs to go to, and restaurants to eat in, but not a ton of grab and go off licenses. Of course, you’re going to have to pay Dublin prices but they do have a fairly extensive 4/€10 shelf. Staff are friendly and into craft beer.
