Lokál - Hamburk

Lokál is a pretty classic chain - a bit on the "been in one, been in them all", but the generally good but not too expensive food + tank PU + their version of dark Kozel concept is highly popular for a reason I guess. Been past this one tens of times, as it's just by Dva Kohouti, but never went in till now. Packed, really packed, how weird to see that in Covid times... 45 for mlíko (had to get one for Trolleo's and Anna Bog's sake) of 2 day old tank PU.... which turned out not to be in the best of shapes. Weird. Also, the waitress didn't even try to return the 5kc, which is a meh, but they were busy and efficient otherwise. Dunno, I may return for food one of these days and get the full experience, but just for beer, it was a bit of a disappointment.

Cafe restaurant on a corner on the northern side of Park na Karlínském námestí. Varied menu. Lokal dishes, off course - it's Lokal Hamburk. Five taps. Good burger.

Traditional restuarant with a big bar as you enter and several smaller rooms aournd it. Tankova Pilsner Urquell and Kozel dark are only beers on tap, and most seems to go with the pilsner wich served in very good quality, very fresh. Pretty busy on our visit a late weekday afternoon. Effecient service. Didnt try the food, but it looked tempting.

Very authentic Tankovy Pivo restaurant.. strange nobody else already rated it .. different areas serving only the Urquell unpasteurized from the tank , you can stand in the front of the pouring or take a seat in one of the bigger room for having the food .. one of the most beautiful tank bar in town
