78 Stopped into Tacoma's newest brewery (I think) on my last road trip down south, and decided to check this place out while waiting out the dreadful Tacoma traffic with a bite and a brew. Located just a mile or so off the I5, so it's simple to get to, and if you have time to do some brew hopping, it's right next to 7 Seas and Harmon. So location is excellent as far as my scale goes. Lots of different house beers on tap, good variety, and all offered in imperial pints, schooners, or tasters. Perfect for tasting a few, and still being able to hit the road again after. Setting reminds me of a diner. It might have been one before it was a brewery. Booths and bar tables, self seating, and really fast and friendly service. Food menu offers some brats and various pub grub. Everything was tasty. Overall, a good addition to the growing Tacoma beer crawl. Enjoyed this visit. |
